Through my art, new life is given to remnants of the past: things that were used and enjoyed by folks who came before. Primary components are old unearthed pottery and glass pieces. I use them intact whenever possible to preserve the natural weathering that has occurred through time. It is inspiring to think of the many hands that handled the materials before they came to be in my hands The result is unique, colorful two and three-dimensional pieces of art with a historical twist.
Most days you will find me working from my studio in beautiful the hills of TN creating art from beautiful items reminiscent of the past and present. My paintings and reproductions have been featured and sold in national catalogs. My "old to new" art mosaics are always a hit at specialty art shows and craft fairs. Very popular items are my angel "sculptures" and "keys of many colors".
I also create custom art on commission for home/building renderings, line drawings of pets, etc. from your photographs. You can have them matted, framed and can even have them printed onto personalized notecards, Christmas cards, and many more uses.
